Experience a stimulating day of discussion, camaraderie and, possibly, civilized controversy at the Long Island Great Books Council’s Annual Spring Institute. We invite you to attend one of two concurrent discussions on human relations, either Circumscribed Lives or Clash of Civilizations, at our annual one-day Spring Institute.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to read and discuss thought-provoking literature.

What do you get?

Two books, participation in two discussions, good food (continental breakfast, hot lunch, beverages), and an opportunity to present your ideas and listen to and explore the ideas of others.
