Long Island Great Books Council

2011 Spring Discussion

The Long Island Great Books Council has selected the readings for our 2012 spring discussion, which will be held on Saturday, June 9th in Garden City. Please note our new venue, The Garden City Casino, which is located at 51 Cathedral Avenue.

This year's readings correspond with our theme "Leadership and Freedom". A description of the selections for the two groups, along with a registration form, is attached as a pdf file. Please share this information with any friends with whom you think may be interested in participating.

A few words describing each of these books are contained in the pdf file containing the registration form.

We look forward to having you join us for an enjoyable day of discussions.
