Longboat Key Winter Weekend

The eighth annual GREAT BOOKS CONFERENCE WEEKEND will be held on January 25-27, 2013 in Longboat Key, Florida (a few miles west of Sarasota).

The theme will be:
AMERICA IN THE 1950'S: SUBURBIA, CONFORMITY, AND ANXIETY.

Three readings for discussion will be
John Updike's Rabbit, Run,
Richard Yates' Revolutionary Road, and
Sloan Wilson's The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit.
